Post Date: Feb 14 | Tips for class XII Chemistry

chemistry Mix detail and theory in right way for a winning formula!!!!!!!!!!!! Following are some smart studying tips so that you can score good marks in CHEMISTRY. -Any deviation or distraction from routine can lead to downfall-avoid panic, stress, anxiety. -NCERT textbooks provide through knowledge of the basics. -Chemistry paper consists of some common graphs, basic variations and calculation of slope which can help fetch good marks. -The last three chapters constitute 10 marks. These chapters are small and usually have definitions and questions which are frequently asked, can be easily memorized. -Concentrate on the theoretical part, specially solid state (defects, derivation of packing efficiency),solution (ideal and non-ideal solution),electrochemistry (cells and their reaction). -The question contains six types of questions of organic chemistry-reasoning,conversion,distinguish,name reaction, nomenclature, mechanisms. -Basic knowledge of surroundings and concepts can fetch you three marks in value-based questions. So never leave such a question. -'d' and 'f' block elements can be learnt easily by learning preparation and oxidising properties of KMnO4 & K2Cr2O7,cause and consequences of lanthanoid contraction.Coordination chemistry is an easy chapter and its important topics are limited like nomenclature, valence bond theory. Being thorough with the parts you do know is important."Missing one step can cost you a mark. And 99 is bad if you were aiming for a 100. Don’t get stressed and give your best shot at the exams after all board exams are not rocket science. Best of Luck!!!!!!!!

maths prepation

Clear concepts a must to master THE GAME OF NUMBERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Following are some smart studying tips so that you can score good marks in MATHEMATICS. -Going through NCERT concepts again is a must for all subjects. -For topics like 'functions' where domain range is important, revise and solve the problem accordingly. -Focus on application of formulas. -Be careful with figures as they carry marks. -Must follow the marking pattern. -Practise as much as possible as this is a subject where one can score 100. -While practising, solve the question completely. You may feel you know the solution midway but complete it else there is a probability of forgetting some steps during the exam. -Do as many sample papers as possible and complete them within prescribed time.Best time to practise sample papers is from 10am to 1:30pm. -Read the question paper carefully in the first 15 minutes earmarked for that.If you feel that you can solve the six-marks questions, start with section C as the tension for long questions will be over. Being thorough with the parts you do know is important."Missing one step can cost you a mark. And 99 is bad if you were aiming for a 100 Don’t get stressed and give your best shot at the exams after all board exams are not rocket science. Post Date: Feb 10 | Preparation Tips for C.B.S.E Board Exams

board exams With C.B.S.E exams just round the corner, examinations pangs must have started for most of the students. Relax and take a deep breath! The main key to perform well in the exams is not only doing hard work but also smart work. With C.B.S.E exams starting on March 1, it’s time to start active revision. The following are  some smart studying tips – Prepare a time table – Look at your examination date sheet and prepare a time table for yourself. Get up early in the morning, have proper breakfast and then start studying. You can take a 15 minutes break after every 3 hours of studying. Do not stay awake late in night freaking out about the exams. Revise in a planned manner - Do not study everything in one day. Pick up 2 subjects every day and start revising the important topics first. Do not skim through 10 topics, rather concentrate on 2 most important topics and study them in detail. Choose right subject combinations while revising - For maximizing your output and retaining whatever you have learnt, choose a combination of easy and difficult subject while revising. For instance, if you find Economics or Chemistry tough and English easy, you should first study Economics/Chemistry for 2 hours and then switch to English for refreshing yourself. Math should be practiced everyday for 2 hours and should not be left for revising at the end moment. Solve sample papers and previous year’s question papers - Solving sample papers and previous years question papers is the only “guru mantra” to do well in the board exams. Nearly, 50% of the question paper is similar to the sample papers and previous year’s papers. So, time yourself and solve a question paper for each subject on a daily basis. This will automatically prepare you for all the exams. Exercise and adopt a healthy diet - Exercising is a very important part of doing well in the exams. Go for a 15 minutes’ walk both in morning and evening. Inhale and exhale fresh air. Meditation is also a good way to refresh your mind. Eat leafy vegetables and a balanced diet. Avoid oily and junk food, which make you sleep and lethargic. Don’t get stressed and give your best shot at the exams after all board exams are not rocket science. Best of Luck!!!!!!!!
